I'm Mathis.
I'm Mathis Kalandyk, photographer, filmmaker and founder of SPARKLIC on the French Riviera.
Before creating SPARKLIC in 2021, I was already editing holiday films to share with my family. Today, I bring that same pleasure in telling stories to your wedding film.
Before the day, I take the time to get to know you: your story, your wishes and what matters to you. On the day itself, I help you feel at ease and let the moments unfold — with a little humour, too.

A wedding day goes by very quickly. You experience every moment intensely, yet you only see part of what happens around you.

How does the day unfold?
Depending on the option selected, coverage generally includes:
- preparations, if desired;
- the civil or religious ceremony;
- the cocktail reception;
- the evening, up to a key moment agreed together.
I coordinate with your photographer, DJ, wedding planner and other suppliers.
A smooth, coordinated presence that never disrupts the rhythm of your day.

Travel & logistics
The proposal covers filming and editing.
For weddings held far from my base, travel, accommodation and any related expenses are covered by the couple.
These costs are charged at cost, without markup, and detailed transparently in your quote.

Delivery times
Your film is delivered through a secure, downloadable and shareable link.
- Essential: approximately 6–8 weeks;
- Signature: approximately 2–3 months;
- Iconic: approximately 3–4 months.
Every film is edited manually and carefully, without automation.

Payment terms
Your date is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
- 50% deposit when the quote is approved;
- 50% balance when the film is delivered.
Payment is made by bank transfer or another method specified in the quote. Postponement terms are also set out in writing.

I deliberately limit the number of weddings I accept each season so I can give every film the time, care and attention it deserves.
Each wedding is prepared in advance, filmed thoughtfully and edited by hand, without standardised processing.
I support you with professionalism, discretion and kindness, from our first conversation to final delivery.

Before choosing your film
How long is a wedding film?
Depending on the chosen option, the main film generally lasts between 8 and 18 minutes. Its exact duration follows the story and rhythm of your day.
Do you record vows and speeches?
Yes, with the Signature and Iconic approaches when the agreed setup and venue restrictions allow it.
Is drone footage always possible?
No. Aerial filming depends on location, regulations, permissions, weather and safety.
Can you work with our photographer and planner?
Yes. We coordinate before the wedding so everyone can work discreetly without disrupting your day.
